Premium Meadow Forage for Horses & Equines

Baileys Natural Meadow Cobs are crafted from up to 60 species of grasses, wildflowers and herbs, harvested from Pre-Alpine meadows in southern Germany. Left to mature before cutting, the plants are naturally high in fibre yet low in sugars and calories. Coarsely chopped, high-temperature dried using renewable biomass-fuelled electricity, and pressed into chunky cobs — nothing added, nothing taken away.

Feeding Recommendations

Must be soaked before feeding. Add 2 parts water to 1 part cobs (e.g. 2 scoops water to 1 scoop cobs). More water can be added to further aid rehydration.

• Warm water: soak for 30 minutes
• Cold water: soak for 1 hour

Ensure cobs are fully softened before feeding.

Daily Feeding Rates (dry weight)

• As total forage replacement: 1.5–2kg per 100kg bodyweight per day
• Alongside forage/hard feed: 0.5–1kg per 100kg bodyweight per day

Divide the total daily amount into as many smaller feeds throughout the day as possible. A small number of cobs may be fed dry as a hand treat; otherwise soaking is strongly recommended.

Natural Meadow Cobs contain no added vitamins or minerals. Always feed alongside the recommended amount of a balancer, mix or cube to ensure a fully balanced diet.
